背景介绍 Epidermal growth factor (EGF) stimulates cell growth and differentiation by binding to its receptor, EGFR. Human EGF is a 6-kDa protein with 53 amino acid residues and three intramolecular disulfide bonds. EGF is present in various body fluids, including blood, milk, urine, saliva, seminal fluid, pancreatic juice, cerebrospinal fluid, and amniotic fluid. Biological activities ascribed to EGF include epithelial development, angiogenesis, inhibition of gastric acid secretion, fibroblast proliferation, and colony formation of epidermal cells in culture.

  • Q1:EGF拿到后如何配制

    先用离心机高速离心细胞因子冻干粉（离心机的最高速即可），使冻干粉全部收集到离心管底部；再用适量无菌水溶解至不低于100 μg/mL浓度，然后用无菌的完全培养基、0.1%的BSA或者5%海藻糖溶液进行进一步稀释（使用含血清、BSA或者海藻糖的溶液配制，可以有效保证蛋白活性，保存时间会更久一点）；细胞因子产品为无菌产品，不用过滤，使用无菌离心管分装后放在-20℃冰箱保存。

    我们公司的因子都是重组的，是不含动物源成分的。

  • Q3:这个重组蛋白如果我想加入细胞里，用哪个溶解呢 ？因为随产品附赠了一管pbs和一管无菌水

    首次复融使用无菌水，复融后如果还需要进一步稀释的话，使用含海藻糖的PBS进行稀释。
